Adora Svitak

Adora Svitak brings up a great point with the fact that parents need to learn from children as well. To branch off of this I believe that we as teens need to stand up and talk and not necessarily be told when to talk and it what way. In school and at home the parental units or teachers do not have that soft spot to have the students who they are supposed to be "teaching" to tell them that they are are wrong. We as teens need to become stronger and back up our thoughts and teach the teachers and parents how we see things... and who knows it could be right. Think about it, if we stand up just like Adora did, the things we say could influence the individual and make them see a different side of the story or problem.

WANTED BEST FRIEND!!!!

I am looking for a best friend! What do I want in a best friend you might ask, there are many qualities that I look for. The most important quality that I look for is trustworthy. I must always be able to trust you no matter what the situation is and make sure you always have my back. Another thing I look for is that you must like sports. My life revolves around sports by playing it and watching it day in and day out. The final quality I look for is someone with a good sense of humor. To be my best friend you must have a good sense of humor, I love to laugh. If you are looking for a best friend and you have all these qualities call me at 555-555-5555.
THANKS
Ryan

My Toothbrush

I sit there and just wait till the morning and night.
As you pick me up I become affright.
You put me in your mouth you swirl me around.
When you do this you look like a clown.
I get deep and into crevices to clean your teeth
I hate this because I always get underneath.
The taste of food grosses me out.
As you wash me off I am not in a drought.
I now wait as the light turns off.
I wait there and wish you good night
Until next time always keeps me bright.

Enthusiasm About Learning

Many things throughout my education has made me enthusiastic about education. It first started in 4th grade when I had a teacher named Mr. Eschausier. From the moment I walked into that class I knew I would like him, but what I didn't know would be how much I appreciate his teaching now. Mr. E as we used to call him would always teach us history, this was boring to me but as time moved forward I was able to connect my passion with history. As I look back on that year now I really believe that the enthusiasm of education came from him and all of the history classes that followed. From then on I became enthralled in anything that involved history and geography.

Courage

According to Webster's dictionary courage can be described as mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.I have had a time in my life where I had to use courage. This experience was when I was learning how to ride my bike. I was 5 years old and would always ride my bike with training wheels. I wanted to ride without training wheels so I started one day down my street. I was pedaling while my dad was holding my seat, he said he would always hold on but then he let go and I was riding my bike without training wheels. In my mind I used so much courage to achieve the ultimate goal. I was so proud of my accomplishment and that I could finally ride my bike.
